Annie Mae’s Kountry Kitchen
Make your plans now to visit Annie Mae’s Kounty Kitchen for great Southern cooking in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Annie Mae’s is located at 480 Laurel Street and is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10:30am-4:00pm. A meat, two vegetables and drink is only $6.50 + tax. Owner Bobby Edwards says they will work hard to make you feel right at home.

Carmen’s Rentals
Carmen’s Rentals is owned by Carmen Gaddis and is a new establishment in downtown Alexander City, located at 126 Marshall Street. The facility can be rented to host parties, showers, receptions and other events. The facility is available any day of the week from 8:00am-12:00am. Carmen is also a decorator. She has experience decorating showers, weddings and receptions, as well as other events. She is available to decorate your event held at Carmen’s Rentals as well as events held elsewhere. For more

Fairy Tale Parties & Adventures
Fairy Tale Parties & Adventures is a new business “Making Your Day Special”. Owner Vella Rogoski found a need in the Alexander City Area to have parties of all kinds, from birthday parties to holiday parties and from bridal showers to baby showers. No matter what the occasion, “Fairy Tale Parties & Adventures” is there to take away all the stress of planning, decorating and cleaning up afterwards. Fairy Tale Parties & Adventures also has a children's boutique where you can find costumes, accessories and gifts. Opening December 1, 2012, just in time for all your holiday events. Hillabee Towers
A community that extends not only their hands, but their hearts to the residents! Hillabee Towers is a beautiful five story apartment complex located 1 mile from downtown Alexander City, AL - the gateway to Lake Martin and Wind Creek State Park. There are 78 one bedroom apartments, a large lobby with fireplace and game tables, laundry and recreation room. Hillabee Towers has a beautiful patio area with a fountain, flowering trees and shrubs. There is a large parking area for visitors and residents. Horseshoe Bend School
Horseshoe Bend School was established in 1992 to serve the north end of Tallapoosa County. Horseshoe Bend has been SACS/AdvancED accredited since 2004. It serves grades K-12 with many athletic and academic extracurricular activities. In 2008, Horseshoe Bend was named in the top 100 schools in America by US News and World Reports. Current enrollment is 804 students. HBS faculty members have received such awards as AHSAA “Making a Difference” Coach of the Year Award, State Consumer Science Teacher of the Year, Golden Apple Winners and Alfa teacher of the month. Twenty-three of the 53 certified staff members have a Master Degree or higher in their field. They have one teacher National Board Certified and another teacher who is in the process of National Boards. Principal Casey Davis states, “We are excited about being a part of the Chamber.”

ProLink, LLC
Former Dadeville staffing office, ProLink has relocated from Dadeville to Alexander City. The company hires personnel for SL Alabama and Sejin America. Currently, SL Alabama and Sejin employ between 260 and 270 people total, and the companies are always looking for ways to expand – which is where ProLink comes in. ProLink currently has five employees, as well as an on-site supervisor at both SL Alabama and Sejin, and is expanding much faster than owner Chad Cho initially anticipated. Kristi Vickers, Human Resource and Office Manager, encourages anyone looking for a job to stop by the new office, located at 1986 Airport Blvd.

Steele’s is now open in Alexander City located at 903 Market Place. Store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10am-8pm and Sunday, 12pm-6pm.
